Lexington based industrial open-shop General Contractor is searching for an experienced Drafter to prepare mechanical plans for industrial piping, millwright, maintenance, and construction projects for food grade industrial facilities.

Requirements:

• This position will require extensive 3D modeling.
• Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD is required.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment handling multiple projects and construction projects at any given time.
• Works closely with management, manufacturers and vendors.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline is preferred.
• Computer-Aided Design Certificate.
• Basic architectural and construction knowledge.
• Knowledge of foodservice industry is preferred.

Compensation:

• $18-$25/hour, depending on experience
