Southeast Regional General Contractor in business for 75+ years is searching for an experienced Estimator for commercial and healthcare construction projects for their Jacksonville, FL division. No travel required. Project sizes are typically in the $10M - $100M range.

This is a highly respected firm with an excellent reputation with owners and subcontractors. They are financially solid with unlimited bonding capacity. All their executives and upper managers have been promoted from within their PM and Supervisory ranks.

• This person will work with a preconstruction team to prepare progress estimates, solicit subcontractor quotes, and prepare proposals, for negotiated design/build and conceptual projects.
• Typical projects are all types of commercial office, mid to high-rise residential, hospitality, and hospital related construction; ground-up, remodels, and additions.

Qualification Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience working for a GC or CM on commercial or healthcare construction projects as an Estimator or PM.
• The most recent 2 years you must have been in a full time estimating / preconstruction role on projects in excess of $10M.
• A 4 year construction related degree is required.
