Description
Reputable and stable general contractor specializing in federal construction projects has a need for a Superintendent that has vertical construction/base building experience. Additional opportunities in North Carolina as well.
Projects range in value from $500K - $40M. Work collaboratively with assigned Project Manager on all facets of the project from pre-construction meetings to post project documentation. Enforce safety and quality control per government specifications and contract drawings. The selected candidate may operate in the areas of Quality Control and Site Safety Health Officer.
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 5-7 years’ experience as a superintendent on federal construction projects. Experience on NAVFAC and /or USACE is preferred. Travel is required as not all projects are in the Hampton Roads area. All candidates must be able to obtain SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance for secure/classified projects.
Compensation $70K- 95K/year depending on experience, Full benefit package to include healthcare, car allowance, vision, dental and 401K plan.
