Description
Southeast-based drywall & framing contractor is searching for an experienced Construction Estimator/ PM.
This position will be responsible for performing all activities required to takeoff and price self-performed drywall and metal stud work, solicit subcontractor & supplier proposals, and present proposal to owners. In addition this person will be involved in purchasing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and perform occasional PM duties.
Qualification Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience working for a drywall and metal framing contractor in the field, management, &/or estimating is required.
- At least 3 years of Estimating and sales experience for a drywall and metal framing contractor is required.
- Experience with On-Screen Takeoff and Quick-Bid estimating system is required.
- Candidate must be computer literate and have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word and Excel)
- Experience with PlanGrid, Smart-Bid, iSq-ft is preferred.
Compensation:
- $70K-$90K/year plus performance based bonus of $30K-$50K/year, stock options, & full benefits package.
