Robert Herndon as President is a 24 year Construction Executive professional and has worked for top Multi-Family and Commercial Developers as President, Vice President and Project Manager.

Mr. Herndon has directly overseen the Development and Construction of hundreds of multi- family and commercial projects throughout the Southeast, Northeast and Midwest.

Mr. Herndon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida and has earned General Contractors Licenses in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Mr. Herndon has interviewed, hired and trained hundreds of professional construction individuals from Construction Administration, Project Coordinators, Project Engineers, Estimators, Superintendents, Project Managers and Vice Presidents. Mr. Herndon’s relationships and contacts throughout the industry help better serve the needs of the client and candidate.

Description

We are seeking a SALES MANAGER AND SALESMAN for a painting and renovations company in Atlanta.

SALES MANAGER will be responsible for maximizing the  sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management. Ideal sales manager has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, closing deals, and experience in the construction industry.

Duties:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Requirements:

  • Experience working with apartment (AAA) communities, commercial (BOMA), or condominium/townhome/homeowner associations (CAI)
  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
  • Completed Sales Training Programs (ie. Dale Carnegie, Sandler Training)
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

SALESMAN must have experience in a sales and estimating role within the renovation and painting industry.

Duties:

  • Prospect and generate leads and following up on existing opportunities
  • Close sales
  • Meet and network with clients at company events and shows, performing presentations.
  • Inspects potential projects and create, provide, and present estimates
  • Service existing and new potential customers
  • Inform management of sales quota etc.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience with painting and renovations.
  • Must have current client base and contacts with the Apartment Associations (AAA), Commercial property managers (BOMA), or the condominium and townhome HOA managers (CAI)
  • Must be energetic.
  • Proven sales experience.
