Single family home builder has an immediate need for an experienced Start-up Coordinator/ Administrator for single family homes in Atlanta, Georgia.
• Apply for and manage building permits and work with city and county planning and building departments.
• Perform duties with urgency and accuracy in a fast paced environment.
• Work efficiently with city and county municipalities, engineers, survey companies, architects, designers, and various other to obtain needed documentation
• Monitor schedules and establish start date for all homes
• Ensure schedules and deadlines are met.
• Utilize software systems to accurately track and monitor all homes throughout construction.
• Provide additional administrative support as needed.
• At least 5 years’ experience working for a single family home builder or Developer/builder in scheduling, purchasing, or accounting.
• Experience with applying for, and obtaining, building permits is required.
• Ability to effectively multi-task while responding to phone calls and interruptions is essential.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential
• Experience with IHMS and MS Visio and dealing with purchase orders/work orders is a plus
• $40,000 - $45,000 per year plus benefits package.
