49% of Employers Make Hiring Decisions in Less Than 5 Minutes: CareerBuilder

Are you guilty of impulsive hiring? If so, you have plenty of company. A new survey from CareerBuilder finds that 49 percent of hiring managers make a decision about a candidate within a few minutes of meeting them. The research also concludes that 87 percent of hiring managers know within the first 15 minutes whether they like a candidate. Is this rush to judgment a bad thing?
