New Survey: Correlations Between Employee Development and Retention
HR construction execs looking to develop and retain employees may not like the new survey from Aerotek, a Maryland-based provider of recruiting and staffing services. Their Recruit or Retain report finds that three in five employees would leave their jobs if offered a new position with higher pay. Tanya Axenson, vice president of HR at Aerotek, has a suggestion that can help you work more effectively with hiring managers: “To break the struggle of choosing whether to invest in current or potential employees, staffing partners can shoulder time-consuming tasks in the hiring process, helping managers focus on the development of current employees.” Do you agree?
