About the Role
The Business Development Director leads strategic sales efforts within the data center market. This high-visibility role focuses on developing business with hyperscale owners, design teams and GCs, aligning internal teams, and closing complex, high-value work.

Key Responsibilities
• Cultivate relationships with decision-makers at top hyperscalers, design/engineering teams and GCs.
• Present concrete packages by clearly communicating the company’s value to mission-critical/data center clients.
• Manage and advance a national pipeline of data center work.
• Lead and coordinate pursuit efforts with developers, estimators, and operations teams.
• Drive pursuit strategy, project positioning, and client solutions through execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile
• Industry Background: From a large general contractor, subcontractor or engineering firm with BD experience in the data center sector preferred but strong relationships in a management (Project Executive/Project Director/Program Manager, etc.) role is also acceptable.
• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Business, Marketing or similar field.
• At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with significant experience of large-scale data center/mission critical construction projects in either a business development or management role.
• Relationships: Established connections within the data center/mission critical sector and top-tier GCs who have a data center focus.
• Skills: Leadership, communication, business development, and concrete delivery expertise is highly preferred.
