Description

Working with a nationally growing team focused on single family and based in Austin, the Land Development Manager is responsible for managing land assets from project inception through model home opening. This includes performing technical feasibility studies for new land acquisitions, securing necessary entitlements, engineering plans, permits and other governmental or quasi-governmental approvals needed to develop land and build houses. Requirements/Responsibilities include:

Bidding and hiring contractors and consultants for design and construction.
Managing the land development team and contractors during construction to ensure lots are ready for vertical construction.
Performing due diligence, reviewing ALTA Surveys , title documents, environmental reports, soil conditions, impact fees, etc.
Managing the approval process of preliminary plat to final plat, coordinating with municipalities, engineers, soils engineers, landscape architects, etc.
Coordinating all bonding for financing of project improvements.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated problem solver.
Up to 50% travel in the Southwest and West.
