It’s Not CAD or Blueprints, but Beyond.com Launches New Visually Appealing Résumé Service
The old standard CV that’s full of text and bullet points may be on its way out. Beyond.com, a career and jobs posting site boasting a community of 30 million people, says its new Career Portfolio enables job-seekers to create a pictorial display of their experience. A company press release points out that accomplishments will be mapped into a timeline, “allowing recruiters and HR professionals to quickly scan for the most relevant information on the candidate.” The service is free.
