Company Overview:
Join the Atlanta division of a Top 10 heavy civil general contractor specializing in some of the largest and most impactful water and wastewater treatment plant (W/WWTP) projects in the country. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale Water Treatment Plant projects in the Atlanta metro area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-profile, complex projects valued between $100M - $750M.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all aspects of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of projects.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and site Superintendents.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate risks during the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the preparation of reports, financial documentation, and progress updates to key project stakeholders.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 7 years of experience managing Water or Wastewater Treatment Plant projects for a General Contractor or CMAR firm.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on at least one W/WWTP project valued over $100M in the last 5 years.
• A 4-year degree in a construction-related field is required.
• Experience working for an Owner, Engineering, or Design firm is not acceptable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and teams.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
• Full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
• Reasonable relocation expenses to move to the Atlanta area will be covered.
