National multifamily Developer/Builder is searching for a Controller to work with the CFO on all financial aspects of the company. This person will be in the office full-time, no travel required.
This company has been in business for over 50 years. They know a downturn in the multifamily market has started. They are prepared for that and have always been successful continuing to build during downturns. They own the land and have the financial resources to continue building even if there is an extended downturn. They do not lay off personnel, nor cut wages.

Responsibilities include:
• Preparing financial reports
• Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions.
• Directing and assisting with A/R, A/P, payroll, taxes, etc.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a controller role or 7 years as a Senior Accountant for a construction company is required
• CPA preferred, but not required. Experience as a Controller with a construction company is the most important.
• Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
• You must live in the Roswell area or be willing to commute there on a daily basis. No relocation assistance is provided.
• A minimum of a 4-year accounting or business degree is required for this role.

Compensation:
• $100K-$130K depending on experience.
• Full benefits package
