Description
Specialty contractor is searching for an Operations Manager for commercial painting & coatings projects throughout the Tampa, Florida area. Projects include interior and exterior commercial painting, waterproofing, and specialty coatings for new ground-up construction projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to move into a VP or President position within the next 2 - 3 years. An opportunity to be involved in ownership is also possible.
The Operations Manager responsibilities include:
• Managing multiple site managers.
• Reviewing schedules and budgets.
• Meeting with owners, bid reviews, and subcontractor solicitation.
• Reporting to the company president/owner.
• Work with the company president on all aspects of the company management.
Daytime travel to jobsites will be necessary but you will be home every night.
You must have worked as a Sr. Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Manager, in the specialty painting industry for the past five years.
A 4 year degree in a construction related or management program is preferred, but not required.
Compensation: $90,000 -$110,000/ year If you do not live within commuting distance of Tampa, Florida reasonable relocation expenses will be paid.
