Custom home contractor is searching for an estimator or project manager with experience using Excel in single family or multifamily wood frame construction. This is a growing company with excellent opportunities for advancement!
Responsibilities:
• Using Excel: Preparing estimates for new construction, and change orders. Creating and updating customized spreadsheets with complex calculations, multiple source sheets, extensive sorting, and reporting functions. Maintain and update all backup information within the source sheets on a continuous basis.
• Communicating with vendors: Corresponding with vendors for updating material costs.
• Supporting the estimating team: Assisting with the pre-qualification of vendors and subcontractors, and providing general assistance to the estimating staff
• Perform project management activities throughout the construction process.

Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years construction related experience in ground-up single family or multifamily wood frame construction.
· Minimum of 2 years extensive Microsoft Excel experience.
· Must be proficient with Excel and utilizing multiple source sheets, (individual detailed spreadsheets which feed to each other and to the destination sheet, or summary page)
· Revit and/or Sketchup experience a plus.

Compensation:
· $50,000 - $75,000, based on experience.
