Mercer: Energy Sector Expected to See Biggest Pay Hikes in 2015

“The latest Mercer compensation report found that the average pay raise expected to be doled out in 2015 will be 3 percent, up from 2.7 percent in 2012.” That’s according to Dan Cook’s post on BeneftsPro.com. While the numbers may be encouraging as the U.S. continues its gradual climb out of the recession, those working in energy and transportation may be happier than others. “Energy led the way by a wide margin, with a projected average pay increase of 3.5 percent. Next: transportation equipment at 3.1 percent,” writes Cook.
