Hampton Roads based general contractor is searching for a construction Estimator with 3-5 years of experience estimating commercial and/or federal construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• You will be trained in all aspects of estimating and preconstruction.  This training will be valuable for career growth in the company whether you stay in preconstruction or later switch to project management.
• You will perform takeoffs, solicit subcontractor quotes, prepare proposals, conceptual estimates, progress estimates, and bids for negotiated projects. All projects are negotiated or select bid list.
• Typical projects include ground-up and renovations of commercial, federal, healthcare, and educational projects.
• No out-of-town travel required.

Qualifications required

• At least 3-5 years working in, or with, estimating for a commercial
  GC is required.
• A 4 -year construction related degree is preferred.
