Lexington , KY area industrial open-shop General Contractor is searching for an experienced Human Resources Manager to direct all of their human resource activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Talent Acquisition – interviewing , hiring and onboarding new employees
- Employee relations, including handling of personnel complaints and grievances
- Administration of the Employee Benefits program
- Handling of insurance investigations
- Very little, if any, travel is required.
Qualification Requirements:
- This person must have at least 5 years‘ experience as an HR Manager.
- At least 2 of the last 5 years must have been as an HR Manager working for a construction company, either a GC or subcontractor.
- Experience working for an industrial construction contractor is a plus.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000/year, depending on experience plus profit based bonus, healthcare benefits, 401K. Reasonable relocation expenses will be paid if you do not currently live within commuting distance of the office.
