Construction Workers Find Creative Ways to Keep Projects Moving in Winter Months

It takes a hardy group of people working outside construction jobs to get through the winter months. In addition to typical warnings about protection from the extreme cold, many in construction jobs are getting creative when dealing with the elements. With costs and deadlines in mind, here’s one example mentioned on ConstructionDive.com:  Tug boats pushed through the frozen St. Croix River in Minneapolis and the state Department of Transportation used aerators to weaken the ice around a bridge under construction so shipments of heavy machinery could make it to the job site.
