Employers Concerned About Recent College Grads, Skills Gaps: SHRM Poll

“Forty-nine percent of organizations feel that new grads lack basic skill and knowledge of writing in English.” That’s one of the results of a poll conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management. The findings, revealed in Employee Benefit News, also indicate that 18 percent of respondents worry about math proficiency, an essential in the construction industry.
