National residential Single Family Real Estate Developer is searching for an Accountant to work with the Director of Accounting on all financial aspects of the company.

This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial reports
• Maintaining the general ledger accounts and reconciling the balance sheet.
• Preparing tax returns
• Preparing and monitoring budgets
• Overseeing junior staff accountants & reviewing journal entries of staff.

Requirements:

• You must have at least 2 years' accounting experience,

• Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.

• Experience with YARDI software is a plus.
• A 4 year accounting degree is required for this role. A business degree with at least 5 years’ experience performing commercial real estate accounting is acceptable as well.

Compensation:

• $60K-$90K depending on experience
• Full benefits package
• Bonus/Incentive Structure
