Are you a detail-oriented Enclosure Commissioning Engineer or Architect ready for a path to leadership? Work with a team who supports the work you do but doesn’t micro-manage or abandon you. Our client is IIBEC CBECxP Certified and you will lead their Building Enclosure Business Unit. In addition to working on some of the region’s most recognized projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process for enclosures for these projects, ensuring their proper functionality, while collaborating with project teams for successful project completion.

You will be responsible for:

Leading enclosure commissioning, testing, and verification according to project specifications
Inspecting enclosures and roof during construction for compliance with design specifications.
Performing functional tests and diagnostics to diagnosis deficiencies.
Documenting and reporting findings; providing recommendations for improvements.
Collaborating with teams to resolve commissioning-related issues.
Mentoring and developing your building enclosure team. Finally! The dream team you get to build!

Experience should include:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
Proven experience in enclosure commissioning or similar role (new or existing enclosures and waterproofing preferred).
Strong knowledge of enclosure systems and industry standards (THERM, WUFI).
Proficient in testing and diagnostic tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Knowledge of ASTM and AAMA standards and testing procedures related to various elements of the building envelope.
