Description
Hampton Roads based general contractor is searching for a construction Estimator with at least 5 years of estimating experience on commercial and/or federal construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- You will perform takeoffs, solicit subcontractor quotes, prepare proposals, conceptual estimates, progress estimates, and bids for negotiated projects. Design build experience is required.
- Typical projects include ground-up and renovations of commercial, federal, healthcare, and educational projects.
Qualifications required
- At least 5 years working in, or with, estimating for a commercial general contractor is required.
- Federal estimating experience required. Design build and/or CM@Risk experience is preferred.
- A 4 -year construction related degree is preferred.
