Description
Southeast-Based General Contractor is searching for a Safety Professional for commercial construction projects. Your initial assignment will be on a 3 year high-rise concrete frame project in Charlotte.
You will work with the Lead Safety Manager and be responsible for safety meetings, enforcing the safety program, and performing safety training of subcontractors and direct employees.
- You must have at least 4 years’ experience in commercial construction working in a safety management position for a General Contractor on a vertical construction project in excess of $30M.
- Experience as a Safety Manager or Assistant Safety Manager on a concrete frame high-rise (20+ stories) is required.
- A degree in Safety Management, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred, but not required if you have a strong background in construction project safety management.
- OSHA 30 or OSHA 60 certification required.
Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000/year, plus an excellent benefits package
Reasonable relocation expenses will be paid.
