Description
Reputable and stable general contractor specializing in military and government projects has an immediate need for a Superintendent for small construction and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) Projects. Projects will include renovations and new construction on government facilities along with smaller operations & maintenance projects. Must be able to build and maintain excellent relationships with the client and subcontractors.
Work collaboratively with assigned Project Manager on all facets of the project from pre-construction meetings to post project documentation. Enforce safety and quality control per government specifications and contract drawings.
• High school diploma and at least 5-7 years’ experience as a Superintendent/QC/SSHO on renovation and/or ground-up construction projects. Candidates that have supervised operations & maintenance projects are also encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with experience working on federal installations and hold a quality control management certificate are preferred but not required.
• All candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Compensation $85K -105K/year depending on experience, company vehicle, 401k plan and health insurance. Employer will cover 75% of premium for both employee and family. Additional travel (up to 25%) will be required for this position.
